Free Health Screenings at Manna House: What You Need to Know
At Inland Vineyard Church, we believe in the power of community and the importance of health and wellness for everyone. That’s why we’re excited to announce our free health screenings at Manna House, our beloved food bank serving the Corona area since 1995. Whether you’re in need of groceries or looking for health resources, Manna House is here for you.
What is Manna House?
Manna House is more than just a food bank; it's a lifeline for our community. Located at 935 McKinley Street, Corona, CA 92879, we operate every Saturday from 9 AM to 10 AM (except on fifth Saturdays) to provide families and individuals with essential groceries. Our unique drive-through service allows you to choose your own groceries, ensuring that you receive what you need most.
In addition to food, Manna House features a free medical clinic and a prayer booth, making it a holistic support system for those in need. Here at Manna House, our philosophy is simple: "No strings attached" and "We're all in this together." Anyone is welcome to receive help, with no requirements or judgments.
Free Health Screenings: A Resource for All
The free health screenings at Manna House are designed to provide valuable health resources to the community. These screenings can include blood pressure checks, glucose testing, and other health assessments. We understand that access to healthcare can be a challenge for many, and our goal is to remove any barriers that may prevent you from getting the care you deserve.
The screenings are conducted by qualified health professionals who are dedicated to your well-being. This service is available to everyone, regardless of your financial situation or health insurance status. We want you to feel empowered to take control of your health without added stress.
How to Participate
Participating in our free health screenings is easy! Simply come to Manna House during our operating hours on Saturday mornings. No appointment is necessary; just drive through, and you can receive your health screening right on the spot.
While you’re there, you’re also welcome to browse our selection of groceries. Our partnership with local grocery stores allows us to provide a variety of food options, ensuring that you can find something for everyone in your family.
A Personal Story of Community Impact
One of our regular visitors, Maria, shared her experience with us after participating in our health screenings. "I came to Manna House for groceries, but I didn’t expect to find help for my health as well. The screening revealed that I had high blood pressure, something I wasn’t aware of. Thanks to the team here, I was able to get the support I needed and have since made changes to my diet. I’m so grateful for this community!"
Maria’s story is just one of many that highlight the impact Manna House has on our community. We are here to support one another, and that support extends beyond food.
